8100 NOUGAT is a documentary about INGRID – the 'Graffiti Information System Deutschland'. A system which not only sorts the different graffiti styles but also creates a data bank concerning in which neighbourhoods they are being created and why. The goal of INGRID is to further understand this urban movement and to connect it to current social tendencies from a neutral point of view. This is why we chose not to show the graffities itself rather than the tools they are being created with in a neutral manner – cliché free so to speak.
